Good Morning I. C. Families,
Since we have our first BIG spelling test this Friday there will be no homework packets for first and second grade this week. Please keep them reading and studying at home throughout the week.
First grade will have 18 spelling words to study from units #1, 2 and 3. First grade had a PRACTICE test on Friday and did well. I sent the graded practice test home, look them over with your child.
Starting the week of October 3-7 (unit 4) first grade will have 10 spelling words to study. Yay!!!
Second grade will have 30 words to study for this Friday’s unit #1, 2 and 3 test. I sent their graded practice spelling test home. I want to make sure the children are retaining the information and not memorizing for the week.
We are excited to announce we just received our school agendas for first and second grade!!! I will send them home on Monday for you to look at. The school agendas will help teach our students how to schedule and keep academically organized.
