Hello IC families,
Hope everyone is having a blessed SUPERBOWL weekend. Thank you for the warm teacher appreciation day wishes and gifts. I was so spoiled, the children gave me a GREAT day of appreciation!!! Last week’s, Catholic school’s week was a great success. Yay!
We are back to our normal week’s routine. Please have your student finish their homework packet, even on Tuesday;) This Tuesday is “NO SCHOOL” teachers have a in-service. Spelling quiz and third grade vocabulary quiz will be giving this Friday. Homework packet and first/second grade reading logs will also be due this Friday morning. I have attached the spelling list and homework packet at the bottom.
Friday, February 10 is spring school pictures. Students will have free dress.
Monte Carlo night is Saturday, February 11 please make sure you turn in all donations/fees to your room parent as soon as possible. Thank you.
Up coming Fieldtrip: I love the theater. I love the live action of the actors and the creativity of being live on stage. Once a year, I try to take our students (T/K, K, 1st and 2nd) to the theater to see a live performance. This year I have found “Skippy Jon Jones, II” It will be on Friday, March 10 at Citrus College, Haugh Performing Arts Center in Glendora. I have room for one more chaperon parent, if you would like to go. You must be Virtus trained. Contact me if you would like to join us this year. The fieldtrip permission slips should be going out before the end of this month.

PS: Please keep a look out for a HARD COPY of first/second grader’s names for next Tuesday’s Valentine’s Day card fun. I will send out the name list tomorrow. I need to get approval for a Valentine’s Day fun hour;) So I will keep you updated if classroom need donations for the fun. Thank you
